Who handles your data

The data controller is IT09876240962 (VAT no. IT09876240978), Via Tommaso Gulli, 17 - 20147 Milano (Italy), represented by its legal representative Carlo Magno. For any question or request about your data, write to hoofrush@gmail.com.

What data we use

• Phone number: used to sign in (we send you a code by SMS) and never shown to other players.
• PIN: stored only in encrypted form, unreadable even to us.
• Game data: stable name, silks, horses, races, credit transactions. Stable name, silks, horses and results are public inside the game.
• Chat and reports: your messages are visible to their recipients (in the square, to everyone); reports are read only by administrators.
• Purchases: product, amount, date and transaction number. Card or account details are handled by Stripe, PayPal, Apple or Google: we never see them.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, server logs, needed to run the service and protect it from abuse. We also count how often each button in the game is tapped, anonymously (totals only, without knowing who), to improve it.
• On the website (not in the app), aggregated visit statistics with Google Analytics.

Why and on what basis

• To provide the game and your account (performance of a contract).
• For purchases and the related tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation).
• For security, against fraud and abuse, and to improve the game with statistics (legitimate interest).
• For optional communications and non-essential cookies, only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who helps us (providers)

We use providers that process data on our behalf and only for these purposes:

• hosting of the game server and file storage (Cloudflare);
• sending the sign-in code by SMS (Vonage);
• automatic name checks and chat translation (OpenAI): they receive only the text to check or translate, never your phone number;
• payments: Stripe and PayPal on the website, Apple and Google in the app, through RevenueCat;
• website statistics (Google Analytics); posting race results on our social profiles (Metricool, Instagram, Facebook), with horse and stable names that are already public in the game.

Some of these providers are based outside the European Union (for example in the United States): transfers rely on the safeguards provided by the GDPR (adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses).

How long

• Account data is kept while your stable is active. If you close your stable (Profile and settings) your phone number is released and no longer linked to the game; to have all your data deleted, write to hoofrush@gmail.com. Race results stay in the game history.
• Purchase data is kept for the period required by tax law (up to 10 years).
• Technical server logs are kept for a limited period, then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, restrict its use, receive it in a readable format or object to processing, by writing to hoofrush@gmail.com. If you believe your data is processed unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in Italy, the Garante: www.garanteprivacy.it).

Minors

The game is not intended for anyone under 18. Credits are only the game currency: they cannot be converted into money and betting is simulated.

If we change this notice we update the date above; for important changes we tell you in the game.
